THE ACE ZONE – “TAZ”

The ACE ZONE is located in out meeting space at our new location at 506 E. Washington St.  TAZ is home to our educational and outreach programs and to the Colleton Farmers Market.  The Colleton Museum offers a variety of classes for young people at the on site.  In addition, we make available hands-on teaching tools, books, posters, CDs, kits, and videos to local teachers for use in their classrooms.  All classroom items are available for checkout free of charge!

The space is available for rent.  Please call us at 843-549-2303 for details.

Teacher's Environmental Network (TEN)

TEN was created to foster enthusiasm among local teachers for learning, experiencing and sharing with others the beauty of the local environment. TEN provides free lectures, field trips, supplies and education support to teachers interested in environmental education. Colleton County teachers attending TEN sessions receive professional development credits.

A TEN favorite is canoeing and kayaking on the Ashepoo, Combahee and Edisto Rivers

These programs funded in part by the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation.
